Supported by Will Hodgson, MD of Symphotech, Eddy Grant, CMIOSH, Director of Safety for Symphotech and Programme Leader Events, University of Cumbria - a leading academic and practitioner in event safety and event law – will present the sessions which will help organisers to prepare and implement the appropriate safety measures to mitigate the risks presented by Coronavirus, to satisfy licensing officials and keep artists, crew and audiences safe.
The programme is open to all AFO Festival and Individual Members; however, the resources and presentation will refer specifically to the prevailing legislative and regulatory context for England. The methodology set out will be useful in other contexts, but members operating outside England will need to cross-refer to their pertaining local laws and regulations.

These sessions will give guidance on how to deal with the impact of COVID-19 safety on event planning and provide access to documentation which will support the planning of your event.

These sessions will review, and follow up in seminars on specific queries from those who have prepared their plans and are progressing them through SAG, licensing and planning processes. Registration links to the second session will be sent to those who attend the first session.
